MZL & Novatech TrafficStatistic configuration examples.

Monitoring all traffic of my computer.

Install MZL & Novatech TrafficStatistic on PC where traffic will be counted.

• "exlude traffic between local addresses" is disabled
• promiscious mode = off
• broadcast mode = off

All the packets directed from/to IP address of your network adapter are captured.
A packet directed to your PC is considered as "Received", a packet directed from your PC - "Sent".

Monitoring external traffic of my computer.

Packets directed from/to IP address of your network adapter to/from external addresses are captured, all the packets beetween your PC and any local IP address aren't.
A packet directed to your PC is considered as "Received", a packet directed from your PC - "Sent".

Install MZL & Novatech TrafficStatistic on gateway PC.

• "exlude traffic between local addresses" is disabled
• promiscious mode = on
• broadcast mode = off

All the packets directed via gateway network adapter are captured.
Packets directed to your PC is considered as "Received", packet directed from your PC - "Sent".
A packets directed beetwen any local address and an internet address are summed to local address account, respectively a packet directed to a local address is considered as "Received", a packet directed from a local address - "Sent".
